REFLECTIONS
"REFLECTIONS" a story about a Vietnam Nurse is one of my works in progress.
BLURB:
Sarah Goode knows one thing for sure, she’s a damn good nurse. Joining the Army Nursing Corp seemed to be the most natural thing to do, and it wasn’t until she enlisted and they told her she was going to Vietnam that she doubted her decision. It wasn’t the job that scared her, but she’d never been away from home – and now- she wasn’t just going away- she was- going to war.
The moment the helicopter touched down Sarah was sure she’d made a mistake. As bombs and gunfire erupted all around, all she felt was panic. How was she going to survive her tour of duty? She prayed to God for strength, and her prayers were answered because out of the jungle stepped an ANGEL- An Angel in combat boots.
Johnny West is on his second tour of duty, and the last thing he expected was to be given orders to pick up the new field nurse. His unit depended on him, but instead of helping protect them, he had to complete what he considered an undignified task. Until he saw her.
She was a vision in her white nurse’s uniform, a definite contrast to the sand and jungle surrounding him, a REFLECTION of Beauty in the war torn country.
The last thing either of them expected was to fall in love. But they did.
But with a country in chaos, and violence all around, can their love last? Or will it be torn apart? Possibly Forever …

This is the first post for my brand new site! Its taken me quite awhile to set this up and I'm still not sure that its exactly how I envisioned it, but it'll do for now. I want to thank everyone who takes the time to read!
